Surrey Drone Photography – Sunset Over Seale

While I was working near the local church on 2 August 2026, I captured this summer sunset above Seale, a peaceful Surrey village between Farnham and Farnborough.

Warm golden light stretches across the horizon, while the darker foreground reveals the natural shapes and textures of the Surrey countryside near Farnham, Farnborough and Guildford.

Seale sits in a particularly attractive part of West Surrey, surrounded by farmland, woodland and small rural communities. Its position between Farnham and Guildford provides a varied landscape, with open countryside gradually giving way to larger residential and commercial areas.

From the air, the contrast is especially clear. Fields and hedgerows create natural patterns across the landscape, while roads connect Seale with nearby locations such as Puttenham, Tongham, Runfold, Aldershot and Farnborough. The wider view also reaches towards Farnham, Guildford and the Surrey Hills.

The sunset added warm colour and depth to the scene. The low evening light highlighted the horizon, while the fields and woodland below remained darker and more detailed. Conditions like these can create atmospheric aerial photographs that show both the scale and character of the local area.
